This documentary studies the development of a fresh pedagogical approach, named Sportified Learning. Its purpose is to model the most effective methodology for maximizing the benefits of Sportified Learning, utilizing collaborative design thinking. An initial version was conceptualized before the shootings. Currently the documentary records the journey of iterations for refining both the Sportified Learning framework and the guide.
The documentary records the collection, analysis and discussion of inputs from a largly diversified pool of participants and examines the merits and challenges of this methodology. The design approach followed is human-centered, thoroughly examining varying needs of the different stakeholders (i.e. students, teachers, principals, parents, community members, and future employers and politicians). Most interviewees are experts in their fields so they are sharing advice with those who wish to apply this methodology. Our intention is that this documentary will familiarize teachers with the framework and short guide for transforming learning into a sports thrill.
